FAQ
You have a few more questions about e-designs and an online colour or decorating consultation. Below you will see some common questions.
I am fully online and virtual and have no need to come into your home personally. That being said I can travel to homes in and around the Toronto GTA, including the Muskoka and Kawartha Lakes. Depending on the location there could be a travel charge depending on distance.
Once you purchase an e-design package you will be sent a questionnaire to the email supplied via a PDF file format. This could take up to 24 hours. Check your JUNK folder and that the email address given was correct.
Yes, I have found that the time and commitment must be taken to fill out the questionnaire by all parties within the home. I then use the data to create a personalized colour selection that will be pleasing to everyone.
Depending on the project(s) it could be 3 pages for one room or multiple pages for additional rooms. Added information will be given (depending on the project) to help you work towards a successful project. Each project is unique.
Answer: Once all questionnaires are completed and been received it can take up to 10 business days (Monday - Friday, holidays excluded) to receive your personalized e-design. The goal is to deliver sooner, being just one designer who reviews and creates your e-design does have limitations. A lot depends on the workload any given week. There can be busier times of year. We will discuss your timeline and my availability in our 15 Minute Discovery Call.
Please see Services on the website.
Each individual personalized E-design is curated by me personally.
Absolutely, on the website you will see a BUTTON inviting you to book a Discovery Call, choose a time and we will chat. This is a 15 minute call about what you are looking to accomplish, goals, budget and your timeline. Remember no project is too small. There is no obligation and I look forward to finding out how I can help. I would like to remind you to be prepared for the call as I do calls on certain days and time and can have back to back calls scheduled. There is a 15 minute buffer between calls but it is easy to get side tracked, especially on larger full room design projects outside of just colour consulting.
No, at the moment I have carved out my time to include Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00am to 12:00 noon for my calls.
Sure, we can have a virtual online meeting with various software programs. I typically use Zoom.
Currently I have been working with clients within Canada but don’t let that stop you from reaching out. Who knows what can happen.
No, S4L can provide a shopping Link to products suggested. It is advised the client personally purchase the product and or furniture. Ownership can affect warranties. It is best to have the product in your home purchased directly by you.
That would be disappointing. Within the e-design there are steps and advice on finalizing your paint colours. These colours were chosen based on your personal colour questionnaire answers supplied to S4L. All paint colours and products are the final and sole decision of the client. Within the e-design you are given colour choices.
No, the client would either do it themselves or hire a third-party contractor. Ensure they are licensed and have insurance.
Within 30 days of booking your consultation and prior to receiving your completed questionnaire I can return a refund minus a $20.00 administration fee. Once your completed questionnaire has been received by S4L for review and completion of the e-design there is no refund offered.
Reach out to me, I suggest booking a Discovery Call.
E-transfer or contact me to discuss.
Absolutely, I can come depending on distance. An additional travel charge may apply. We can discuss it on a Discovery Call.
Yes, the refund policy would be the same. Some restrictions may apply.

I consult with clients to colour and style their spaces for life. The goal is to create a staged space, not with the objective of selling it, but rather to continue to enjoy the space:
to live and work their best life in it. Hence the name: Staging4Life.
